Hi Not Going Quietly Gang,
This gathering is intended to create a space of empowerment, energy, grace, community, and wisdom for individuals who are 60+ years young. The name of this group was inspired by the book Do Not Go Quietly: A Guide to Living Consciously and Aging Wisely for People Who Weren’t Born Yesterday by George & Sedena Cappannelli.
Meeting Information: This group meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 10am to 12noon at the Center for Spiritual Living in the Koinonia building at 730 25 Road.
The Not Going Quietly Group’s monthly luncheon is held at Main Street Bagels (6th and Main, Grand Junction) on the first Tuesday of each month at 11:30am.
The Not Going Quietly Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month at Spoons (3090 N. 12th Street) at 10:00 am.
Love donation.
Team Leaders: Rev. Anna Scott, Deb Smith, RScPE, Kate Fotopoulos, Barbara Bellamy
Second and fourth Tuesdays at Noon, meet at Koinonia for a meditative journey within the labyrinth.
A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The labyrinth represents our journey to our own center and back again out into the world.
